Bed Bugs can be introduced into structures through many different avenues such as used mattresses, furniture, luggage and travel bags from a recent trip. Prescription Treatment
This process will begin with an inspection to determine how heavy the infestation is. We will proceed with a HEPA Vac and remove pockets of bedbugs to knock the population down. Next we will apply a prescription treatment of residual insecticides and growth regulators. This will kill bedbugs for weeks to come and break the reproduction cycle. Additionally we will use an insecticide dust ( dust is the silver bullet in bedbug control) in cracks and crevices as well as electrical outlets (see bed bug video and you will see how important this is).

Heat treatments
Heat works, but is very labor intensive because it requires a technician to remain on site all day and it usually takes 2 people to carry up all of the equipment into the apt. Unfortunately Heat does not leave a residual so if a bedbug is brought back in a day later or migrates from another apt you have bedbugs again. This method is very expensive!
Freezing
Freezing is done with Kryonite opposite of heat it kills bedbugs, But again it leaves no residual for long term control. Also very expensive.
