American Cockroach

The American Cockroach is about one and one-half inches long with reddish-brown wings, American Cockroaches prefer warm damp areas. Basements, crawlspaces, sewer traps, and boiler rooms are some of the common areas this species can be found.

In southern states like Florida, some may call them Palmetto bugs. With the warm humid climate of Florida, American Cockroaches can be seen outside regularly. American cockroaches can eat almost anything and live up to 15 months.
