Pest Identification: German Cockroach
The german Cockroach is about five-eighths inch long, light to medium brown with two dark parallel lines on it’s head. It is mostly nocturnal and primarily infests areas close to food, moisture and warmth.
The German cockroach is the most common found in and around apartments, homes, supermarkets and restaurants. They will eat almost anything they can find. Adults can live up to one year and extremely heavy infestations are not uncommon. The German Cockroach has widest distribution of all cockroaches in U.S.
